I don't know why, but I got a sudden urge to run the Greater Binghamton Bridges Half Marathon. WHat?! Why?? I don't know. But in the past, I've been able to do whatever I set my mind to (for a time anyway). The brain is a funny thing. I have a constant battle with mine, but I'll save that for a later post; I'm sure it'll come up again.
So anyway, I'll be posting here to keep myself honest, on schedule & to generally spare people from my bitching unless they choose to read this. I'm following Hal Higdon's Novice15K program (without the recommended strength training, because I'll do it some way other than lifting... Parkour anyone?) for the moment to get up to 10 miles & then will switch over from there. I'm currently on week 2. I did the first 3 mile run on Monday & have the next one scheduled for tomorrow.
